The Travel Doctor Auckland has been New Zealand's premiere travel medicine clinic since 1996. Founded by Dr Trish Batchelor, a world leader in Travel Medicine, our staff are passionate about travel and committed to serving the needs of fellow travellers. Trish is presently working in the CIWEC Clinic in Kathmandu but remains as an Advisor to the Clinic. Her experience in Mountain Medicine balances the experience of our present Medical Director, Dr David Millar in Ocean and Diving Medicine.

    Qualifications and Experience: With 26 years of Medical practice I have been working exclusively in the fields of Travel and Wilderness Medicine for the past 15 years. I ran a Travel Medicine Clinic in Perth, Western Australia for over 10 years and am presently Medical Director and owner of the Travel Doctor, Auckland.

    My main areas of work have been in the areas of Diving Medicine, Expedition Medicine (Maritime Museum of Western Australia) and with Aurora Expeditions to Antarctica. I am also an instructor in Wilderness Medicine.

  • Dr. Jane Kennedy
    Travel Health Specialist with Diploma in Travel Medicine (University of Otago). Expertise in Sexual Health and Emergency Medicine. Interests: Snowboarding, tramping, sailing. Travel Expertise: Nepal, Thailand, Pacific Islands, Europe.
