Ultimate Surf Survival Kits

The Travel Doctor Auckland clinic now has available The Ultimate Surf Survival Kits for sale.
An internet study conducted recently found that " Laceration is the most common type of acute surfing injury. 66% of acute surfing injuries result from contact with a surfboard, particularly the sharp fins and nose" Andrew Nathanson, M.D et al
If you're injured in a remote location in the tropics, don't be without an Ultimate Surf Survival Kit.
Ultimate Surf survival kits are available in two categories
- Sub Tropical
- Tropical and Remote
The sub-tropical kit contains a comprehensive first aid kit, surfboard wax and comb, +30 sports zinc, +30 lip balm, and a Ding All® repair kit that comes with a 90ml "Quik Stix" of resin, ding repair instructions,sandpaper and hand cleaner.
The second kit is specifically designed for the surfer heading to the more remote or tropical surf location. It features a first aid kit with extras specifically included to deal with the types of injuries sustained in tropical areas. The kit also includes stingose gel, swimmers ear drops, insect repellant with deet, +30 sports zinc, +30 lip balm and The Travel Doctor publication, Health Advice for International Travellers.
Also included is a large tube of Sun Cure® resin, matting foam, sandpaper, application sticks, mylar cover sheets, ding repair instructions, wax and wax comb and an emergency condom and lubricant.
