Location:
We are conveniently situated on George Street between King and Market Streets, not far from the QVB. We are within short walking distance from either Town Hall or Wynyard Station.
Parking:
There is parking available at The Queen Victoria Building (QVB). There are also other parking stations in Kent Street. It is generally easier to come into the Sydney CBD by public transport, either train, bus or ferry.

Medical Director: Dr John Cottrell-Dormer MBBS UNSW
Dr John Cottrell-Dormer gives advice to all types of travellers on a broad range of travel health issues, and is interested in all aspects of travel medicine. He is frequently invited to speak on travel health issues to general practitioner groups. He has also contributed to journals, international meetings and international texts on travel medicine.
In the past he has worked for Qantas Airways where among other things he developed the airline's in-flight defibrillation program. He has also worked as the Director of Accident and Emergency at Royal South Sydney Hospital, in occupational medicine and general practice and for the Royal Flying Doctor Service in the remote deserts of Western Australia.
Medical Director: Dr Mandy Hu (MBBS UNSW) VR
One of the original founders of TMVC, Mandy has been involved with the company since its inception in Sydney in 1986. She has a particular interest in travel medicine as well as public health and infectious diseases. AMH has travelled extensively in the past and plans to resume this noble activity as soon as her offspring are able to carry their own backpacks.
Doctors:
• Dr Michele Maund ( MBBS Sydney ) VR - Was a founding director of TMVC, convinced of the need for a special travel medicine service after a friend's trip to Nepal was more memorable for dysentery than divine scenery. She has a strong interest in tropical medicine and infectious diseases, as well general practice.
• Dr Peter Patton ( M.B. ChB., Diploma Public Health ) VR - Born in Zambia, Peter spent his childhood in Southern Africa and the UK. He studied medicine in Cape Town. Peter joined TMVC in February 1996. His medical interests apart from Travel Medicine include Emergency Medicine and Women's Health particularly Family Planning. He presented a paper on Emergency Contraception for Travellers at the ISTM conference in Geneva 1997. His other interests are golf, photography, bridge, travel and gardening.
Registered Nurses:
Our nursing and reception staff have travelled extensivly to the four corners of the world and are able to impart valuable first hand travel tips along with information about healthy travel and related products. Everyone has permanently itchy feet and we "take off" when ever we can.
