Staff:

Medical Director: Dr Larry Skiba MD(Calgary) FRNZCGP MNZSTM

Dr Skiba is our Medical Director here in Christchurch. He is very involved in Travel Medicine in New Zealand. He is the NZ coordinator for IAMAT (International Association for Medical Assistance to Travellers), Larry is also the convenor of the NZ Society of Travel Medicine and Coordinator of Otago University course on Travel, Tropical and Immigration Medicine.

Doctor: Dr Anthony Hawes MBBS (hons)

Dr Hawes is our full time doctor. At the clinic we run Traveller's Medical and Vaccination Centre, The Skin Doctor and General practice. He has a special interest in travel medicine and has travelled extensively throughout Africa, Asia and Europe. He enjoys golf, fly fishing and other outdoor activities.

Clinic Manager- Registered Nurse: Tonya Beck Tonya has worked at the chch clinic for nearly 3 years. She is currently working part-time in administration, after taking parental leave from the fulltime nurse position. She has travelled extensively through Africa, Middle East and Asia.

Frances Harding, Registered Nurse
After a two month honeymoon backpacking through SE Asia, Frances takes over the nurse role in Feb 2001 when Tonya is on parental leave.

Monday-Friday by appointment
