The Travel Doctor TMVC Perth is travelling! We will soon be located in newly fitted offices in Nedlands, near the University of Western Australia, making us more accessible, and with more space.

Staff:
Dr Peter Burke MBBS FRACGP DipRACOG DTM&H.; Dr Burke is the Medical director of The Travel Doctor TMVC Perth, and has practiced in Travel Medicine for seven years. He previously established The Travel Doctor TMVC Fremantle and is a member of the Infectious Disease Department at Fremantle Hospital. He has worked in Pakistan and Peru, as well as for seven years in remote and rural Western Australia, including experience with the Flying Doctor, aboriginal health and health issues affecting the mining industry. He has a special interest in illness in the returned traveller.
Dr Heather Campbell MBChB DRCOG. Dr Campbell has worked in Travel Medicine following extensive general practice experience in the UK, Southern Africa and Australia. She has previously held the position of Senior Medical Officer at Travel and Occupational Medical Clinics. She is currently a specialist Occupational Physician in training.
Dr Steven Clarke MBBS Grad Dip OH&S; FAFOM. Dr Clarke is a specialist Occupational Physician, and consultant to industry. Dr Clarke provides comprehensive medical service and advice to clients, particularly those in the mining and petrochemical sectors. He has interest in toxicology and industrial hygiene, as well as management and rehabilitation of general occupational medical problems.
Heather Brown BSc (Nursing) is our senior nurse and Corporate Liaison. She has experience in occupational remote work and health management for companies working in developing countries, including medical site surveys. Heather is the person to contact with inquiries from companies, or regarding groups travelling overseas, or for on-site vaccination for groups of 20 or more.
Clinic Specialities:
We enjoy seeing all travellers, whether backpacking or staying poolside in Bali! We are experienced in the requirements of special travellers, such as aid workers, field workers, health workers going to high risk countries, expatriate families, and travellers with special medical needs. We provide a unique comprehensive service for companies, catering for all the medical requirements of industry as well as travel. Full medical assessments, including audiometry, ECG, spirometry, work visa medicals, HUET medicals, diving medicals etc are available on site.
